It was back in 2015 that Warwickshire-based specialist label printers Labelaid installed their first BGM high speed die cutting slitter-rewinder, to help meet increasing demand for plain labels in very high volumes.
Since then, that first BGM machine has not stopped producing and now, less than two years later and with the orders continuing to roll in, Labelaid has invested in two more BGM Elite eDSR Easy Load die cutting machines together with BGM’s all new 410 iSR label inspection slitter rewinder.

The all new BGM Elite 410 iSR label inspection slitter rewinder is the most cost-effective, compact and robust free-standing label inspection slitter rewinder currently available, boasting standard high specification features commonly found on more expensive slitter machines, such as automatic unwind braking with an adjustable roll end, reversible rewind & machine diagnostics. It is fast and highly energy-efficient, with speeds of up to 300m/min running on a simple 13amp 230V plug.
BGM’s sales manager Daniel Carr sums up the relationship: “I said back in 2015 when Labelaid first became a BGM customer that our mission is to help already successful label printing businesses become even more successful, and that’s exactly what has happened”.
